Oskar Höfinger’s sculpture „Aufwärts“ („Upwards“) belongs to an early category of his famous „crystalline forms“. The human body is reduced to its essentials: the stand, the inner rotation and tension. These almost symbolic representations make us recognize Höfinger’s deep understanding of body language as mediator of different emotions and energies.
