The sculpture „Folies Bergère“ by the well-known Austrian sculptor Oskar Höfinger is named after the legendary Paris variety theater. This bronze figure’s elegantly curved shape out of skillfully arranged stereometrical forms radiates sensuality. The design dates from Höfinger’s time at the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts in the master class of Fritz Wotruba. Today „Folies Bergère“ is regarded as one of the main works of Oskar Höfinger’s early „crystalline shapes“.
