Harmonic, classic proportions characterize the fine case of this Viennese wall clock, the so called “Dachluhr” with precious mahogany veneer and linear maple stripe inlay. The precision wall clock was produced by Josef Lindner in Vienna around 1845/50 in cooperation with highly qualified suppliers. The dial is made of enamel with a second’s indication and an engine turned and fire gilt bezel. The hands are worked very filigree. The heavy seconds pendulum with micrometer adjustment is driven by a Graham escapement.
