- carved and polychrome mounted lime wood male figure in Tyrolean costume with gun leaning on a tree stump
- anchor escapement, hour strike on bell, repeater
- 17¼ in
This wonderfully carved lime wood sculpture clock shows a hunter in Tyrolean costume. In his hands he holds a shotgun and he leans against a tree stump with his legs crossed. The case with enamel dial is integrated in the tree trunk. The work with the anchor escapement strikes the hours on bell and has a repetition. This is a impressive collector’s item from the 19th century.
